My name is Sanah, I am a potter and artist based in Northwest Connecticut. My passion for clay is deeply rooted in the desire to create functional art that brings joy and inspiration to everyday life. Each piece I craft is a unique blend of form and function, reflecting both my artistic vision and the natural world around me.

 I experiment with various techniques, from wheel throwing to hand-building, infusing each piece with a sense of warmth and individuality. I draw inspiration from the natural landscapes and the creatures that surround me and aim to capture their beauty in my work.

One of the unique aspects of my practice is my use of two distinct wood kilns, each producing a different style and character in my pottery. The rich, organic textures and nuanced glazes achieved through wood firing reflect the natural elements around us, while also showcasing the unique qualities of each kiln.
